Staying Current on Legislation and Education Policy
Part of your work this term will be to help develop a sense of the major issues effecting educators in the United States, and in particular, in New York City. This is a time of change in education policy and practice, and we will use web based technologies to stay on top of these changes throughout the term.
In order to follow policy and practice changes, you will use a news aggregator such as Google Reader or even Twitter. Where you find your sources is largely up to you. Some links and ideas below will get you started.
