Some considerations when working with Elementary Students

Guest Speakers:

How is the elementary LMC a unique space?
What are the information needs of students under 12?
How do you involve the school community in your library other than classes?
How does the LMS collaborate with teachers in a pre-k - 6th grade environment?
How are various literacy skills emphasized in elementary LMC's?
What are the hottest books for young people, and how can you engage them in reading?

These are some of the questions that will be addressed in this presentation.
